Lesley Hurst is the owner of Penn Charter Abstract. She grew up in Indiana, and moved to Pennsylvania to raise her family in 2001. She began her work in the title industry in July of 2020, and immediately fell in love with the day to day operations of the company! She began working for the company under the previous owner, and only four months into her efforts, he decided to offer her the company. She enthusiastically agreed, purchased the company in April 2021, and never looked back. She passionately loves working with her clients, not only realtors and loan officers, but new homeowners and borrowers as well. She will always continue to do everything possible to help get all parties to settlement quickly and efficiently. She has instilled this passion into her team as well! Lesley is also a full-time single mom to five beautiful children, two girls and three boys. When she isn’t busy at the office, you will find her spending time with her family, traveling, playing games at home, or just simply relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine. Lesley also enjoys fitness. Working out is a passion of hers, so much so that she has trained in cross-fit and has ran two marathons, as well as numerous other races and competitions.

Donna is an experienced Title Insurance professional with more than 37 years in the industry. Her vast knowledge in real estate originates from 10 years as a title searcher, 25 years as a licensed title agent and over 20 years as a settlement agent in Lancaster County. She excels in customer service working closely with residential and commercial realtors, lenders, investors and homebuyers. She has built countless relationships with clients, who have since become friends. She will guide customers to achieve their dream, whether they are a first time home buyer, first time investor or seasoned professional. She understands the stressful and sometimes complex nature of purchasing real estate and coordinates closely with the Penn Charter Team to ensure a smooth transaction.

Marie has been a dedicated professional in the title insurance industry for over 25 years.  Since graduating from Lancaster Catholic High School, she has built a distinguished career characterized by her commitment to excellence and attention to detail. With extensive experience in title processing, Marie is well-versed in handling complex issues and meticulously managing every detail.  Her expertise spans in preparing title documents and her in-depth knowledge ensures that all processes are executed seamlessly, providing peace of mind to her clients. Marie prides herself on building strong relationships with her clients, understanding their unique needs, and guiding them through each step of the title process.  She enjoys interacting with a diverse clientele and greatly enjoys helping them achieve their real estate goals.  As a bilingual professional, Marie can assist both English and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear communication and a smooth transaction experience for everyone involved. Outside of her professional life, Marie cherishes spending time with her family and values the moments spent with her loved ones. Justine has been in the real estate industry since 2018, starting out as a transaction coordinator and administrative assistant. Over the years, she has honed her skills in keeping things organized, tackling challenges, and ensuring every transaction runs smoothly. Now, Justine is excited to bring that expertise to her new role at Penn Charter Abstract!  When she is not working, she is a busy mom to two amazing kids and two adorable kittens, who keep life fun and unpredictable. She is passionate about helping people achieve their goals of owning their dream home and helping to make the closing process a breeze. She can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds.

Zebrina joined the Penn Charter Abstract team with a strong background in operations, HR, and event coordination. Her journey in business administration has spanned several industries, but it was the detail-driven, people-focused world of real estate that truly captured her interest. Now working alongside the title team, Zebrina supports the flow of each file from intake to post-closing and is actively growing her expertise in title policy prep, CD/HUD review, and office systems that help transactions run smoothly. Clients quickly recognize Zebrina’s calm presence and strong sense of care. She’s approachable, responsive, and deeply committed to making each transaction feel seamless, supported, and handled with precision. Whether it’s helping a first-time buyer or working behind the scenes on a complex file, she brings clarity and warmth to every interaction. Outside of work, Zebrina is a proud mom to three amazing daughters. She enjoys visiting local markets, hiking to take in life’s natural beauty, and finding moments to reset and reconnect with family. She brings heart, hustle, and a steady hand to every closing—and looks forward to supporting you through your real estate journey.

After graduating high school, Jayda jumped straight into the real estate industry with a clear vision to help others build wealth, and find a place to call home. With a couple years of experience as a licensed Realtor, she now brings her knowledge and passion to Penn Charter Abstract. Jayda brings a strong understanding of the transaction process and a genuine commitment to guiding clients every step of the way. Jayda loves what she does, and it shows in her work. No transaction is ever too complex, and she thrives under pressure always staying focused, solution-oriented, and ready to step in wherever she’s needed. In addition to her work in real estate, Jayda is an entrepreneur at heart. Beyond real estate, she’s focused on personal growth, building businesses that make a difference, and constantly improving her knowledge of the industry. When she’s not working, you’ll find her spending time with her two Frenchies, Zeus & Iris, or diving into personal development.
